This was a new development in a country setting for a couple who were retiring. They needed an area to grow vegetables, a greenhouse, a water feature and plenty of planted areas to give colour and to attract wildlife. The design made best use of a garden that was more wide than it was long – by putting everything on the diagonal it made best use of the space and allowed all the features to blend in nicely with one another.
